At the start of this blog, it is 9:38pm pacific time. I’m sitting in my summer apartment just having eaten dinner and trying to remember the top execs at Warner Bros. Just doing whatever I can to get ready for my first day tomorrow.
I had orientation a couple of days ago and it was 8 hours of paperwork, introductions, learning about the legality/ illegality that any of our actions may or may not have, brief overview of the studio and its history, lunch, and followed by a two hour in-depth tour of the studio. It was pretty awesome being told your part of a small group of individuals chosen out of a pool of over 1,500 people. I met some really interesting fellow interns who will work in all different parts of WB, and all in all, we got paid for it. How sweet is that?
The not-so-sweet part happened the next day as I messed up my (untill-then) pristine bumper of my new-used car (aka my 2nd Baby). I’m sitll kicking myself over it. Now, it’s got these two mini-scracth/dents that will remind me of my idocy whenever I go near my car. Hopefully time will heal these wounds (probably not but one can only hope…).
Also, I’m trying to get everything ready for another music video shoot this week. This video will be the first for up and coming hip-hop artist, HOPP. I’ll update later on that.
As I end this blog, it’s 9:45pm. I’m nervously anticipating my first day at work tomorrow. Why do I get flahsbacks of my first day at school?
