Last week was my very first at Warner Brothers. My first day I got the opportunity to watch and get familiar with all the new pilots that got picked up. Since then I’ve been continuing to get familiar with those shows and their progress as well as help out with the day-to-day office duties. (I am after all an intern). A few days ago, I had so many things that I wanted to write about, but now I feel as though it’d be better to keep some of the things to myself. More special that way. haha. However, I do hope that this week was one that acts as a good sign to the next eight to come.
Yesterday was part one of the “Slow Down” music video shoot. My crew (Vanessa Yee, Herman Chen, and Matt Bennett) and I were all around L.A. and even to Sudio City for this shoot. They were fantatic, and after a 14-hour shoot, I came to realize I could not have asked for a better crew. Part two is next weekend. I’ll write more once I’m done with production and working on post. More thoughts coming soon!
As the title of this post says, I wonder if we can slow things down and speed things up simultaneously. It’s still odd to me spending a summer in L.A. It sure is different, not in a bad way, not at all. Every day though I do miss the smell of the Midwest air in the morning. I miss the cool that comes after a steaming hot summer day in Ohio. Most of all, I miss looking up at the same stars that I use to way back when.
Growing up is hard to do.
